Welcome, Sister

I created Living Truth Retreats from a deep feeling I’ve carried with me since childhood — a knowing that there had to be more to this life.

I finally felt that feeling validated at a women’s-only retreat in the desert. I remember thinking, “There is so much more to this life.” And I knew I wasn’t the only woman who felt it.

The “typical” life is constantly thrown in our faces — surface-level relationships, 9–5 jobs as the expectation, and struggles with mental health that we’re often expected to just accept as normal. We’re given a blueprint for what life is supposed to look like, and somewhere along the way, we can lose touch with what we actually want.

I knew there was a reason these questions and feelings kept showing up for me. I knew I was meant to create a space where women could step outside of the noise, reconnect with themselves, experience something different, and begin stepping into their own truth.

A space where you can be curious. Where you can laugh until your stomach hurts, have the deep conversations, get a little uncomfortable, try something new, and remember parts of yourself that may have been dormant for quite a while.

And most importantly, a space where you know you aren’t doing it alone.

So, welcome sister. I’m so glad you’re here.

Your Host

With over seven years of experience in the mental health field and a degree in psychology, my passion has always been understanding people, the mind, and what makes us who we are. I suppose, in many ways, I was also trying to better understand and overcome my own struggles along the way.

I’m incredibly grateful for my professional experiences and everything they’ve taught me, but over time, I felt another part of me asking to take the forefront — my spiritual side, my connection to nature, and my desire for deeper, more meaningful experiences.

Creating Living Truth Retreats is an expression of that calling. It’s my way of creating the kind of experiences I’ve always wanted to have: time in nature, meaningful connection, sisterhood, adventure, reflection, and plenty of laughter along the way.

I believe that eventually, the soul has to be listened to — even when following it feels very uncomfortable.
